On August 29, 2022, high-end foreign experts from Jilin University, academician of Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Professor Jin Nanheng and Dr. Yao Xuerui of Zhongbei University came to the School of Animal Science of Jilin University to give a special report and carry out academic exchanges. He was employed as a high-end expert inat Jilin University in June 2016 and Tang Aoqing Chair Professor in August 2022.
Yao Xuerui is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Korea University Health International Innovation Research Institute, and his Ph.D. is funded by the National Scholarship Council to study at Chong Bei University in Korea. The research mainly focuses on using brain-like organs to construct in vitro models of normal brain and diseased brain, to study the pathogenesis, and to explore the tools of neurodevelopmental diseases or central nervous system drug screening. Twelve academic papers have been published in international journals.
